2015 Draft Superlatives

Baseball’s version of the draft is more about the future than the present than any other sport’s version. Not only will the majority of the players drafted not see time in the majors, the few that do will need at least three or four years of seasoning before reaching the pinnacle of their profession. And then, after all the hard work, even fewer will attain success at the highest level. It’s no wonder the majority of the top young athletes in the country choose football over baseball.

That said, the projection of these prospects holds more fascination than any other sport, with the sky literally being the limit. There’s a good chance that someone from any given draft class will do something historic…such as throw a no-hitter, or hit four home runs in a single game. This year is no exception. So, without further ado, we present to you this year’s version of draft superlatives.
