MLB Draft Countdown Nails Down First Round

While the order may not have been correct, our most recent mock draft managed to peg 26 prospects that ended up being selected in the first round. That’s a cool success rate of 86.7%, a number we’ll gladly take for one of professional sports most unpredictable events.

The four prospects we missed were Heliot Ramos, Brendon Little, Chris Seise and Alex Lange, although each factored into previous mock drafts.

The picks we nailed (player-to-team) included:

  • No. 6: Outfielder Austin Beck to Oakland
  • No. 13: Left-Handed Pitcher Trevor Rogers to Miami
  • No. 22: Shortstop Logan Warmoth to Toronto
